My son regularly attends Toddler Time and loves it. My husband and I; however, have a slight problem with the structure of this time. We feel that the lessons are nicely planned, delivered, and geared towards his age range. The problem is that some of the other parents/children do not appreciate the fact that other children are trying to focus in on the lesson. As an educator for Hillsborough County, I feel that this is the classroom of the one giving the lesson. It is my suggestion that Mr. Jacob (or anyone else who may be issuing the lesson) please give reminders throughout the lesson that parents need to remove their child if they are not there for the lesson (screaming, running around, etc.) or to gently ask kids to go back to their parents when they decide to stand inches away from the book and block the other children from seeing. I make this suggestion because my son and I enjoy the lessons that are being taught and appreciate the hard work that Mr. Jacob puts into it. I'm sure other families would benefit from this simple suggestion. Thank you.

First, I would like to say I'm surprised anyone used my blog. I stopped posting because I felt no one was using it and each update does take time to put together. Second, thank you for your comment. I will make sure that reminders are made and that we can make things a little less detracting. I just hate to offend parents, and be confrontational with children around, but understand and agree. Again Thank you, from Jacob
