Early Literacy Skill: Narrative Skills
Pick a book that your child is very familiar with and ask him to tell you the story. If they are not able to do this yet ask them what they think is happening in the pictures. Ask questions like: Is he happy or sad? What color is his shirt? This helps them learn vocabulary and create a narrative.
