Early Literacy Skill: Narrative Skills

Basically, this is your child's ability to tell a story or give you the proper sequence of events either real or imaginary. Instead of reading your child you can have them look at the pictures and tell you what they think is happening in a book. Another way you can help develop this skill is to ask them what they did in a given day and see if they get the order of events correct.
