Our Early Literacy skill is Vocabulary. There are tons of great ways to help your child expand their vocabulary, one way is to ask them open ended rather than yes or no question. This forces them to the words they know and you can help them find the words they need. Reading non-fiction books helps them learn specialized vocabulary and learn words. Repeating the words of actions and feelings helps
learn vocabulary as well.
