Early Literacy Skill: Letter Knowledge
There are a lot of ways to help your child become more familiar with their letters. Start with teaching them the first letter of their name, by repeating "J" for Jack and then point out other things that start with that letter through out the day. You can move to other letters but try and pick one for the day and point out all the things that start with that letter. The A,B,C song is a fun way to learn letters. Books like "Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom" help tell a story with letters as the characters and that is another great way to learn letters.
